Pivotal Moments Panel led by Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center

9:00 – 10:30 a.m.

While much time is spent on understanding the art of fundraising, very little time is spent exploring the fundamental shift that happens the moment you raise that first outside dollar and realize there is a change in control. While this pivotal moment opens many doors, including access to much-needed capital and great mentorship, it also brings with it responsibilities and expectations from shareholder with information, communication, active engagement and control. Join us for a real-life look at what this actually means as our panel shares their experiences on living through this moment of growth; highlighting how they navigated critical issues, the importance of diligence, and lessons learned along the way.

American Airlines Innovators Initiative

Our partner American Airlines takes the term ‘getting your business off the ground’ seriously. American is sponsoring flights for 80 companies to attend VentureScape through their Innovators Initiative on first-come-first-served basis.* Select companies will receive 5,000 points through American’s Business Extra program, a complimentary business travel rewards and incentive program designed to help small and mid-sized companies reduce their travel costs.

Please set up your American Airlines Business Extra account to get the process started.

*This offer is available only to companies based in U.S. (outside of the San Francisco Bay Area) and Canada. Companies that received the American Airlines VentureScape sponsorship in the past are ineligible. If you already have a Business Extra account, you may use your existing account. Companies that will receive a sponsored flight will be notified by NVCA at the same time as they are informed they were accepted to attend the event.
